Great trail running shoe

Light weight, great grip on the trail. The bottom flexes just the right amount when stepping on roots to prevent me from rolling my ankle. I ran a few times with another "trail running" type shoe that had stiffer bottoms. I twisted my ankle and was out of trail running for 6 weeks, I tried the same pair again and twisted it again! Even though they were gortex, I gave up on them and went back to these. Haven't had a problem since. I've worn my previous pair in multiple 6 to 18-hour adventure races thru mud, in rivers, over rocks. They held up great! These are very strudy shoes.
I run on the road with Brooks Ariel. Great for over-pronaters, but they are not suited for rugged trail running.
Brooks could do a better job in naming their shoes. I purchased the road version of the Adrenaline shoe not noticing the suffix GTS vs. ASR. Recommend the Adrenaline ASR shoes for trail runners who need stability.

best running shoe

| This is the best running shoe I've ever had! I am a heavy heel striker and tend to wear out the heels of my running shoes after only 150 miles. I can get 300-400 out of these. The traction is suberb in snow, rain or even on Wisconsin winter icey roads. The dark color is not a problem in summer heat as they breathe well. |
