Four Tips For Wearing Designer Shoes Comfortably

When it comes to designer shoes, unfortunately what looks the best isn’t always the most comfortable!  Whether it’s a hot pair of Anne Klein Santiago wedges, or the latest style of Bandolino pumps, they can wreck total havoc on your feet. But have no fear – it is possible to wear the latest trends and be comfortable, too! Just follow these four tips:

1. Get The Right Size

All too often, women love to squeeze into sizes that are too small. For some reason, we falsely believe it’s more feminine to have smaller feet. So we attempt to squeeze our poor little toes into a pair of pumps that is far too small. Don’t fall victim to this false belief! There are tons of drop dead gorgeous women with surprisingly big feet… and no one notices! For example, did you know Paris Hilton is a size 11? And no one ever notices that when she struts herself down the red carpet.

2. Pick Heels That You Can Handle

When your feet are slipped into high heels, your feet are suddenly no longer on a level surface. This results in your toes bearing the lion’s share of your body’s weight. The higher the heel, the more weight they bear. If you take this too far, the long term outcome may not be pretty. You may develop bunions and calluses which have to be surgically removed. Search the net and you will find scores of women on any plastic surgery message board talking about this. They end up needing an orthopedic or plastic surgeon to remove the excess bone growth (the bunion). So be sure to keep this in mind next time you’re eyeing that sexy pair of stilettos! As an alternative, you may want to consider platform heels. They give you just as much height, but put less pressure on the toes.

3. Wear Them Selectively

One of the mistakes many women make is to wear their heels for hours at a time. Why put yourself through that? If you’re going to be doing a lot of walking, keep a comfortable pair of slip-ons in your purse. That way you can change out of your heels and into them when you’re going from point A to point B. Once you’re at your destination, whether it be a fancy dinner or an important meeting, switch back into your heels.

4. Take Care of Your Feet

There are a number of great skin care products on the market which can help tremendously. There are exfoliant scrubs you can use to help prevent the formation of calluses. There are also moisturizers and lotions which are designed specifically for this area of your body. Next time you’re at the drugstore, stroll down the foot care aisle and check them out.

Designer Shoes - Cultured Pearls

You’ve finally found and purchased that perfect pair of designer shoes and now you’re ready to show them off at the next gala event coming up this weekend.
But there is more to making a fashion statement than wearing the perfect Bandolino women’s Geraldy sandal.

What is that other design element that set will you apart from the other guests?
Would it be a designer watch, an elegant scarf, a new gown? No. None of these will create the special distinctive look you are going after.
Cultured pearls are the answer.

Now you will need to compliment the look with some quality cultured Mikimoto pearls.
A cultured pearl is a pearl created by a pearl farmer under controlled conditions.

Modern-day cultured pearls are primarily the result of discoveries made in the late 19th and early 20th centuries by the Japanese researchers Mise and Nishikawa.
Mikimoto is a part of that history and has a superior  dedication to the quality of their materials and products.
The Mikimoto pearl has a certain quality and contemporary fashion. It’s beautiful, high-quality look will set you apart from the other guests.

When you walk through the doors, everyone will turn and notice how stunning you look. A perfect combination of fashion style.
